Are
you expecting to build a new house? you must have a approved council drawing. Why
we need to get approval for the council drawing? Do you know, more than 90% of people in our country use to take loans
from bank to built or purchase house. Approved council drawing, land ownership
status, land approval are major requirements to take loans from private and
government sector banks. Furthermore,
it's advantageous to have a approved drawing, if government decide to enhance
infrastructure facilities you can claim the damages from them if you loose

of a Council drawing:-
1)
Site plan
It is mainly important to identify building location, service locations such as Rainwater pit, NWS&DB (National water supply and drainage board) water supply point, wastewater pit, soakage storage pit, and street line, or any reservations. You may need to mark it on a scale of 1:1000, 1:500, 66 feet to an inch, but most probably use the 1:1000 scale in most of government authorities.
2)
Floor plan
You may need to mark it on a scale of, 8 feet to an inch and remember to mark all dimension meter /feet, floor area of each basic items such as living room, dining room kitchen, master bedroom, bathrooms, balcony, terrace, etc. Each floor plan must separate into units, if there is external access to each floors. In each unit must colour up into the different colours along the wall.
